Portrait: Nelson Girls

These girls come from a family of 5 kids and life is always busy for them. It can be tough for their Mom to get their hair done, let alone brushed at times so when on the odd occasion some hair love does happen it deserves to be documented. From oldest to youngest, here are the gorgeous Nelson girls sporting hair styles opposite of their natural hair. They all look so grown up.

Portrait: Ginette

Ginette is one of my best friends no matter how far apart we are. This girl is always there to lend an ear and makes an effort to come see me when I am home. We had a fun day of shopping and wandering downtown Halifax {I seem to do those things a lot.. hmm} before I flew back to Calgary. It was so great to see her!

Personal: Softball

Two of Jeremy's nieces play softball {I think for the younger kids it's t-ball} Regardless, we had a chance to go watch them play back in the early spring. I can't say I've ever been a big fan but I love seeing the girls play a sport they are passionate about. They are both cute as can be even in uniform and great little athletes! I look forward to seeing more of their games, as well as the other kids who play too.

Portrait: Piano Man

Do you love the piano? I sure do. It's definitely in my top three favorite instruments {guitar and flute are the other two}. Jeremy is extremely talented at piano, even more so then he will admit and plays for me often. I love how graceful his hands glide over the keys and how concentrated his face becomes. Everything from Jeremy's demeanor to the sound he creates is just gentle and lovely. You can check out his piano blog over here.

Portrait: Jeremy

This is my Lover boy. He's a real handsome guy who over the years has gotten used to me wanting to take lots of pictures of him. It was cold on this particular day but I needed to test out another new lens so he willingly cooperated. We have a lot of fun together and he makes me one happy girl. xoxox to you my love.

Portrait: Jennifer

It means so much to me when anyone comes to visit me, even if they are a local from around town. My friend Jennifer is definitely not a local though and she travelled all the way from Washington State with her cute little baby to visit me and my family in {February 2011}. It meant so much to have her come and we had a lot of fun. Even though her luggage totally got lost for a couple days, she was all smiles and embraced Canada to the fullest. She's a natural when it comes to looking good infront of the camera! Take a look for yourself.
